Bamaluz Beach is a tiny strip of golden sand in the heart of St. Ives on the north coast of Cornwall. Hidden behind the breakwater at the entrance to the harbour, Bamaluz appears only on a low tide. Great swimming routes can be found off the beach and around the granite outcrops to Porthgwidden
Park in the Island carpark overlooking Porthgwidden beach and follow the path round the corner to the right. Alternatively, leave the car at home and take the train into St Ives, a far easier option during the busier summer months.
