Piskies Cove

An isolated cove that requires a short trek to reach, Piskies cove is a true local’s secret spot that most people will overlook. One of the three coves that make up the Prussia Cove collective, it has a colourful smuggling history. With no beach at high tide, this cove is more suited to sunbathing on rocks, swimming around the bubbling gullies and cliff jumping across the bay to the west. Expect to have the place to yourself with exception of possibly a lone fisherman. Its relatively sheltered location meant that it was once used by John Carter, “King of Prussia”, to smuggle contraband onto land.

Park in the Prussia Cove car park and walk down onto the coastal path. Turn west and follow the path to the old fisherman’s huts until you reach the double alcove bay.
